My 16th birthday. (:

Hello.

So on the 10th of October 2010, I turned 16. Yes, turns out to be, it was a birthday worth remembering. :D As you know, the date was very special too. It only occured to me that the date is special when I read an article about it in the newspapers.

Anyways, my birthday celebration started off the night before itself. My parents threw a little surprise party. Mostly for family friends and relatives. And there was I coming down the stairs in my rotten clothes, getting the shock of my life, when I saw so many people in the house. HAHAHA. Anyways, there were cake cutting, food, gifts and people. I enjoyed the company. Mom bought me a white gold chain with my initial as the pendant. Very pretty. Everyone went home by 1am.

Moving on, what I loved the most were the calls and texts from close friends coming in at midnight. It really made my day. I can't believe so mamny people actually remember my birthday. Oh well.

Sneaked into bed around 3.30am and woke up at 5.30am for a charity event. Walk for Sight 2010 to be exact/ Avinash tagged along. I was blindfolded and he assisted me in the 7km long walk. WE GOT TOP 10! :D 'Cause we cool like that yo. After that walk, Mom treated Avinash and I with Bah Kut Teh. ( Is that how you spell  it? ) for breakfast. Believe it or not, it was my first time trying it. :D It was pretty delicious.

Next, I went home, got ready to head out for lunch with family. Our pick was Banana leaf rice, be jealous. (: After lunch, I had to go for tuition, BM tuition. It was the last class and so I didn't want to miss it. During class, I got scolding from teacher. Oh my, I felt so miserable. Little did I know, it was all part of their plan to surprise me! OMG, out of nowhere, all the jakuns in class started singing the birthday song, and I got a murukku from teacher. HAHA.

Then, I headed home. Got ready to go out with the girls. They told me to decide on a restaurant so I decided on TGIF's. Food was good, though I couldn't finish it all. So it was Andrea, Jolene, Su Fun, Cheryl and me. Nicole couldn't make it last minute. You see, I choose TGIF's because I thought they don't celebrate birthdays and I could be spared from all the humiliation. Oh my, even this restaurant celebrates birthday, but at least it was not as bad as Las Carretas. :D

I have a video of the celebration actually but its taking to long to upload into blogger. Sorry.


The girls got me a little gift. Very interesting and memorable gift. A hat, shades and a sexy thong! Oh my, I loved it all. HAHA.

All in all, It was a day well spent with my loved ones. Oh, that sounds so cliche.I know it's a lil too late but thank you eveyone who wished me through facebook, twitter, through texts and calls, and in person. Most of all, thanks my family and friends for making my day awesome. :D
